During our drive up the mountain we will see scenic view of the mountain range & the quarries where the sandstone used at the temples of Angkor was harvested.
- KULEN MOUNTAIN is the single most important place celebrated by the Khmer people. The water that flows here is considered sacred and many journey to this site to bathe in its medicinal powers and swim in its magnificent jungle waterfall. The temple here is a feat of amazing engineering, and the reclining Buddha is encased in a sheath of gold. The waterfall is an attractive spot, but could be much more beautiful were it not for all the litter left here by families picnicking at the weekend. Near the top of the waterfall is a jungle-clad temple known as Prasat Kraul Romeas, dating from the 9th century.
- To experience KULEN MOUNTAIN and what it has to offer in a single day will be an unforgettable adventure!
